Jimmy and The Machine are here to give you their predictions and same game multi tips for each game this round!
Fremantle vs. Essendon
Thursday, June 19 – Optus Stadium
Jimmy’s Prediction: Fremantle by 29
The AFL will be regretting their decision to gift Essendon five prime time games after this year. The under staffed Dons got an absolute serving from Geelong last week, with the main course being Jeremy Cameron. Many of their young and inexperienced players just not quite AFL material, and will be in for another shock in Perth.
Freo still haven’t been super convincing all year, only beating Kangaroos by a goal last week at home, but are still sitting just sitting within the 8. Still, they’ll be enjoying being in Perth for 3 weeks in a row, and should really be seeing this game as a percentage booster, and for Treacy to be back in the top 10 goal kickers.
Freo to smash them.

Geelong vs. Brisbane
Friday, June 20 – GMHBA Stadium
Jimmy’s Prediction: Geelong by 6
This Friday we’ll see who is the top feline in the game, and I think the reigning premiers will be left with their tail between their legs.
The Lions have been cruising through games all year, but are now getting caught out and losing games they should be winning by not giving it 100% all game and leaving too little, too late. Deja vu for them this week having plenty of opportunities in the last ten minutes, but kicking with a blindfold on.
The Cats are looking amazing at the minute, absolutely stepping on Essendon’s throat in a 95 point win, and equalling Collingwood on 5 with the biggest win streak this year. If Brisbane turn up from the start they’ll definitely have a chance, but down at the Cattery – I’m backing Geelong.

Carlton vs. North Melbourne
Saturday, June 21 – MCG
Jimmy’s Prediction: Carlton by 4.
The Carlton Football Club is hanging by a thread – and it’s a heavy load. The Blues have an alright run home, but they are two games short of the 8 and have to make the most of every opportunity.
North have nothing to lose at this stage, or any stage this year really, and can definitely take a leaf out of Ross Lyon’s book last year and be the “grinch” for some other teams – and beating Carlton would be hilarious.
I like what North are doing and nearly upsetting Fremantle in Perth is hard to do. I don’t like what Carlton are doing – only just beating Essendon, and weren’t that convincing against West Coast.
My gut is telling me North can put the nail in Carlton’s season here, but the Blues are like cockroaches when it comes to their season officially ending.
Carlton just.

Port Adelaide vs. Sydney
Saturday, June 21 – Adelaide Oval
Jimmy’s Prediction: Port by 12
The week off couldn’t have made anything much worse for the Swans who are having the season from hell. They’re looking at getting some soldiers back with Amartey back from suspension, also Gulden looking possible for this week – but probably looking too little too late at this point.
The Port, who are two in a row, also looks like they’ve left their run a bit too late. While they’ve had a few good wins, and Georgiades in All Australian form – they’re 8 points and a tonne of percentage off the pace.
In a battle for 11th place, and after the smacking Port gave them here in their prime last year, I’m backing the Power.

Collingwood vs. St Kilda
Saturday, June 21 – Marvel Stadium
Jimmy’s Prediction: Collingwood by 36
As if the Saints lives aren’t grim enough already, they’re currently looking down the barrel of another 10 goal bollocking. They looked absolutely horrid against the Dogs last week, and the most positive thing for their supporters is possibly moving to Port Adelaide.
After the Pies have had a week off, people are thinking Geelong are the hottest act in town. Well, the Cats are my AFL premiership tip from last month, but after this game the Pies 100% be back on everyone’s radar.
Collingwood to smash them.

GWS vs. Gold Coast
Sunday, June 22 – ENGIE Stadium
Jimmy’s Prediction: GWS by 8
The “nepo-babies” are both sitting pretty at 6th and 7th, and have both had their time in the sun this year.
The Giants have been a bit a bit volatile, but last week proving when Hogan is on, they are on. GWS have beaten every team in the top 3 – and are the only team to have done that this year. A
Gold Coast are having their best season of all time, however they have lost to each of the top 4 teams that they have played (besides Collingwood).
Can see this going either way, but if they are both at their best – I’m backing the Giants.

Western Bulldogs vs. Richmond
Sunday, June 22 – Marvel
Jimmy’s Prediction: Bulldogs by 65
The Tiges probably wishing they stayed on holiday another week. This will be an absolute bloodbath.
The Bulldogs are finally starting to get all their pieces together, and are looking dangerous. After some cobwebs the week prior, Treloar was looking dangerous mixed in with Libba and Richard’s. With Bont targeted as the most dangerous, them three running rampant is scary.
There’s not a lot positive for Richmond coming into this game, except Balta will be off curfew to watch Sam Darcy kick 6.
Dogs easily.
