Jimmy and The Machine are here to give you their predictions and same game multi tips for each game this round.
Collingwood vs. Hawthorn
Saturday, September 20 – Victoria Park, 12:35 pm AEST
Preview:
Collingwood just snapped Sydney’s unbeaten run and looked like they’d finally found their bite for four quarters.
Hawthorn lost last week and will be itching to get straight back on the winners’ list. The Pies’ pressure game at ground level is a nasty match-up for the Hawks’ slick handball chains.
If Collingwood repeat that midfield squeeze, Hawthorn’s forwards get starved.
Pies by single digits.

Port Adelaide vs. Geelong Cats
Saturday, September 20 – Alberton Oval, 1:05 pm ACST
Preview:
Port are coming off a statement victory that showed they can turn territory into clean chances when the heat is on.
Geelong also banked a solid win and, more importantly, rediscovered their polish late. Power need Houghton/Dowrick to keep the front half humming – the Cats counter with Prespakis/Morrison controlling tempo.
It’s a midfield chess match with one or two marks inside 50 deciding it.
Cats by a couple of kicks.

North Melbourne vs. Carlton
Saturday, September 20 – Arden Street Oval, 2:35 pm AEST
Preview:
North bullied a contender last week and looked every bit the benchmark around stoppage. Carlton handled their assignment and tightened up behind the ball after half-time.
The Blues are improving, but North’s repeat contests and field position game are a different level. If Garner and Riddell get rolling early, it snowballs.
Roos by three goals.

Fremantle vs. Essendon
Saturday, September 20 – Fremantle Community Bank Oval, 3:05 pm AWST
Preview:
Fremantle were patchy last week – moments of clean ball, then costly lapses – and that inconsistency keeps inviting teams back in.
Essendon copped a wake-up, so the response at the contest is the whole story. Bowers and Miller will ask hard questions, but Prespakis and Nanscawen are built for trench warfare.
If the Bombers tidy the last kick, they flip the field.
Essendon by about two goals.

Sydney Swans vs. GWS Giants
Sunday, September 21 – Henson Park, 1:05 pm AEST
Preview:
Sydney were brought back to earth by Collingwood and will be savage about their response.
GWS finally grabbed a morale-boosting win and looked freer going forward.
The Swans’ structure should reassert itself if Gardiner controls the ball and Molloy gets repeat looks.
Garnett will keep the Giants lively, but sustained field position swings it.
Swans by four goals.

Melbourne vs. West Coast Eagles
Sunday, September 21 – Casey Fields, 1:05 pm AEST
Preview:
Melbourne were edged last week and you can smell the overcorrection coming.
West Coast’s young core are brave on turnover but still get stretched when a top side locks them in. Hanks steers traffic, Hore/Harris finish – the familiar Demon rhythm.
Swanson and Roberts will punch back, but depth leans red and blue.
Dees by 3–4 goals.

Western Bulldogs vs. Brisbane Lions
Sunday, September 21 – Mission Whitten Oval, 3:05 pm AEST
Preview:
Brisbane ran straight into North’s buzzsaw and learned a few humbling lessons they’ll fix in a hurry.
The Dogs fought but couldn’t stop a mid-game slide against GWS. Anderson, O’Dwyer and Conway give the Lions a clean exit game the Dogs struggle to contain for four quarters.
If Brisbane start on time, they own territory.
Lions by a couple of kicks.

St Kilda vs. Richmond
Sunday, September 21 – RSEA Park, 3:05 pm AEST
Preview:
St Kilda ripped through Essendon last week – pressure, shape, and actual scoreboard reward.
Richmond are still searching for cohesion beyond Conti’s brilliance. The Saints’ mid-to-forward chains look far more dangerous now Wardlaw is clunking again.
If Brennan gets early supply it’s a live dog, but the Saints look too organised.
St Kilda by five goals

Gold Coast Suns vs. Adelaide Crows
Sunday, September 21 – People First Stadium, 5:05 pm AEST
Preview:
Gold Coast were flat – defensive gaps and fumbles – and that won’t cut it against Adelaide’s midfield metronomes.
The Crows’ balance around the ball still wins them time and entries even on off days. Whitfort can drive the Suns, but if Hatchard/Marinoff own stoppage it tilts quickly. Ponter’s presence inside 50 is the difference late.
Crows by ~16.
